Economic Development Authority

The Economic Development Authority (EDA) is made up of a board of seven directors appointed by the Greene County Board of Supervisors. The purpose of the EDA is to promote the business development of Greene County, consistent with Greene County's Comprehensive Plan, the direction of the Greene County Board of Supervisors and the intents of the legislation of the Commonwealth of Virginia. The EDA and the Economic Development and Tourism Director work together to reach the County's economic development goals.

The EDA Board meets on the third Tuesday in January, March, May, July, September and November at 6:30 pm at the Stanardsville Town Hall, 19 Celt Road, Stanardsville, VA. All meetings are open to the public.
